Dear Friends In Christ;

Welcome to Immaculate Conception Church's web-site. I hope you find this medium of communication useful. Be sure to visit each "link" on the web-page as they give insight into our mission and Parish identity.

History recalls that the Catholic Community in Pine City originated some time in the year 1872 under the pastoral care of Rev. Maurice E. Murphy. Immaculate Conception was incorporated 25 years later on September 2nd 1897 by Bishop James McGolrick of the Diocese of Duluth. 135 years later Immaculate Conception Church in Pine City, MN is a dynamic Catholic Parish with a school and cemetery. There are about 500 registered families in the Parish and 87 students in the school. We are a Christ centered Church and School focused on our journey to the Father.

If you are a visitor to the web-site (and not from Pine City) I want to extend an invitation to you to come, visit and worship with us any time you are in the area.

In Christ

Father David Forsman
