Cristiano Ronaldo’s son, Cristiano Jr, seems to have inherited his father’s athletic ability, as showcased in a post shared by the renowned footballer in late February.
The former Real Madrid and Manchester United star – who was rocking blue nail polish on his toes in the snap – was pictured with his son after a morning workout session in what appears to be his home gym in Saudi, according to British media.

Cristiano Jr – full name Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Júnior – was born on June 17, 2010, and is the football star’s first child. And while we know that Cristiano is his father, his biological mother’s identity has never been revealed, per People magazine.
Ronaldo Sr told Jonathan Ross in 2015, “Some points in life are private and people have to respect the privacy. When Cristiano is going to grow up, I am always going to say the truth to him because he deserves it, because he is my son. But I am not going to say [it just] because people want me to say.”

In a statement, Ronaldo tweeted at the time, “It is with great joy and emotion that I inform I have recently become father to a baby boy. As agreed with the baby’s mother, who prefers to have her identity kept confidential, my son will be under my exclusive guardianship. I request everyone to fully respect my right to privacy (and that of the child) at least on issues as personal as these are.”
He plays football just like his dad
Ronaldo Jr is quickly taking after his father, especially in football. According to Goal, the youngster joined Saudi Arabian professional club Al-Nassr’s under 13 team in 2023, and hopes to one day play alongside his dad.

According to the same source, Ronaldo said in 2019 of his son’s wish: “Sometimes, my son tells me: ‘Dad, hold on for a few more years, I want to play with you’. But that will be difficult.”

He’s part of a big family
Ronaldo’s family has continued to expand since he met his current girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez. In June 2017, Ronaldo and Rodriguez welcomed twins Eva and Mateo, now six, via surrogate. Then Rodriguez gave birth to Alana Martina in November that same year. In October 2021, Ronaldo said they were expecting twins again.
Tragically, in April 2022, it was announced that one of their twins had died. “It is with our deepest sadness we have to announce that our baby boy has passed away. As previously reported, in 2020 the then-10-year-old rocked a flashy diamond Rolex GMT Master II “Ice” while accompanying his dad to receive “the player of the century” at the Dubai Globe Soccer Awards. Celeb Watch Spotter estimated its price to be over US$550,000.
